3G is a widely used way to connect to the Internet through a mobile device such as a mobile phone or tablet as long as you have a network service provider which allows for 3G technologies through their network. 3G is a updated version of 2G Internet which worked the same however, 3G provides are more powerful and quicker way of accessing the Internet and download/uploading information & data packets.
