What does windows 7 offer with its uses?
Windows 7 is operating system which has been developed through its previous versions such as Windows Vista, Windows XP & Windows 2000, all of which have played a part in developing the operating system millions of user, use today. Windows 7 has offered a lot to todays systems and technologies with its advancements in running a stable system built for user friendliness and for advanced extreme users for gaming and powerful software. In terms of games development and technology windows 7 is a solid and reliable operating system for a gaming platform, it is simple and allows for quick installation and downloads of games and media to play games.
The operating systems allow for many features and functions which other games may not, such as Games for Windows which are directly linked to Xbox & Microsoft allowing the ability to link both Xbox 360 and windows systems together. Windows 7 also allows for a simple way of installing and configuring drivers and software related to games meaning that they can be setup quicker than other platforms, most games are also designed and developed for windows before any other platforms as it is the most used operating system.

Overall I find that windows 7 provides the best gaming operating system for use on a PC this is due to its simplicity to run games and install them, and the support and assistance the operating system provides when problems arise. I also find that when upgrading the software this can also be done fairly easy as the OS provides a simple way to unistall old software and simple way for new software to installed either through download or a media disc.
