Windows CE for hand held platforms

Windows Embedded Compact for hand held systems

Windows embedded compact systems for handhelds:

Windows CE is an operating system used for handheld devices and mobile devices alike such as mobile phone, PDA's & tablet PC's. This type of operating system is used for handheld devices and is closely linked to the original operating systems used on computers such as Windows XP  & Windows ME. Along with these systems it allows for a quick way of accessing emails, accessing the internet or storing files and applications if the room is available. The system acts similarly to standardized operating systems with them being able to run files, open the start menu and access programs which might be on the system, these can then be run and used like they would on a normal phone.

In Terms of accessing and playing games, they allow for simple games to be played such as snake, tetris and other simple games seen in earlier models of mobile phones.
